Christmas 2009

Ok so here we are smack in the middle of Christmas 2009 and I really just don't want to go shopping or even think of Christmas gifts. I would rather it be a celebration of the real reason for Christmas.

The birth of Jesus Christ. God's only begotten son.

Hello people. Did you miss this idea or what. I really wish people would see that it is not about how many gifts you give, get or send, but how you show your honor to God and Jesus Christ.
Ok and what is with people abbreviating Christmas with Xmas. That irritates me. It is spelled

C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S

Is that really hard people?

I do have to admit that we have our Christmas tree up and we have gotten the kids their gifts but I just really don't care about getting the rest.

Some Updating of the blog

I am not the greatest at this blog thing but hey I will give it a try. Here are some pictures of the family.

The First Day of School for Riley

Well today was the first day of school for Riley. It was a usual morning. We had our usual morning routine with Riley. Up for a morning bike ride, back for the shower , on with breakfast , and making lunch. Then the little stinker has to go and lays on the couch when she needed to go and get her teeth brushed and her hair brushed. So of course we rushed right out of the house in time to wait for the bus.

Well the bus was 35 min. late picking up the kids. Which meant the kids were late to school on the first day. That and they were more than sweaty and stinky I am sure. It had to have been 85 degrees outside this morning. I am ok with me being the reason she's late but not the school bus. Surely they had them practice their routes before the first day. (Ok that is my rant for now).

OOOOOHHHH those Darn Doctors

OOOOHHHH those darn Doctors. Baby girl has had testing done for ADHD and we are going to meet with her Pediatrician to discuss treatment for her. Well the darn Psychologist has not returned my 6 phone calls asking for the report to give to her doctor. I am made beyond belief.

At least the Psychologist could return my phone calls. OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Grand Plans for a Grand Summer

I had such Grand plans for this summer and all the extra work I would do with my DD. Well here we are at the middle of summer and I only have accomplished half of them. Anyways it is summer need to have fun. Planning a little vacation for the family to Fiesta Texas, or Sea World , or Schliterbahn. I vote for Schliterbahn since it is wet activity and it is just so darn hot here right now.

Have you ever heard of this book? "If you take a Mouse to School" my dd loves it. She reads it to me weekly. We got them from Chic f la here in Houston. That are just tooo cute.

End of School Fun

So I haven't posted in a long while. So much has happened went through a layoff and unemployment for a while then found the greatest job every. So now I have the time for all the things I didn't get to do for the past year and a half.
