Thinking of family

This picture is of my mom and Bryce at the Children's Museum of Houston. I thought it was a good picture to put up today. I have been thinking alot of my family and extended family the past couple of days. My cousin Anne lost her beloved husband Jay last Thursday morning. Jay's viewing was yesterday and my parents attended it. I spoke with my mother yesterday evening and she was telling me all about the family that had come to celebrate Jay's life. It seems so sad to me that we are all to busy to take the time to visit with family until we have a death in the family.
This picture is just a reminder to me that we should really enjoy and value the time we have with our families. With that being said it's time to get off the computer and spend time with the family.

Day 5- Digging a hole

What more can I say. He's a BOY. This was one weekend I am sure in late fall of 09 that my dear hubby was working on the backyard and Bryce just had to help. Kind of looks like he is digging his way to the other side of the world. I have to say Bryce is definitely "ALL BOY" . You know it gets you thinking though Bryce and Riley have more toys than they know what to do with yet they find the greatest joy in playing with the things that aren't even theirs and cheapest.
Enjoy and Peace to you!

Day 2-4

Ok so the blog for a year in pictures is not my strong suit. I am going to try hard at it. Here are three pictures which will count for days 2, 3, and 4.

Here is day 2. Riley & Bryce my sweet babies.

Day 3 : The look on her face says it all.
Day 4: Here is Mr. G . Q. himself.
So these are three of my days. I will look back on theses days and be amazed at where the time will have gone.

A quite moment in the busy day- Day 1

OK first off I love this picture. I don't claim to be a grand photographer or anything but I truly think this shows something we could all stand more of. Those quite moments when you first wake up in the morning. That quite time that you have to you, yourself and the Lord. This picture is my sweet boy Bryce on Christmas morning 2009. The innocence of his little face and trying to imagine what he is thinking just makes this one of those pictures to look at.
I have to think my friend Danielle for inspiring me to start doing this. I of course am 16 days behind her but think this might just be a good way to share a year's worth of pictures. Might be a neat way document a family's history for a year. Who knows where it could go.
Peace to you! God's Blessings! Enjoy,
W~

Christmas 2009

Ok so here we are smack in the middle of Christmas 2009 and I really just don't want to go shopping or even think of Christmas gifts. I would rather it be a celebration of the real reason for Christmas.

The birth of Jesus Christ. God's only begotten son.

Hello people. Did you miss this idea or what. I really wish people would see that it is not about how many gifts you give, get or send, but how you show your honor to God and Jesus Christ.
Ok and what is with people abbreviating Christmas with Xmas. That irritates me. It is spelled

C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S

Is that really hard people?

I do have to admit that we have our Christmas tree up and we have gotten the kids their gifts but I just really don't care about getting the rest.

Either way folks Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
